CONSUMER INFORMATION
In conformity with Article 13 of the Legislative Decree of 25th July 2005,
n°. 151 “in fulfi lment of the guidelines 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE and
2003/108/CE, regarding the reduction of the use of dangerous materials
in electrical and electronic devices and the sorting and division of refuse”.
The symbol of the crossed refuse bin displayed on the equipment
indicates that the product at the end of its useful life must be disposed
of separately from the other refuse. The consumer must, therefore, give
the exhausted equipment, at the end of its useful life, to the suitable
differential waste collection centres for electric and electronic waste,
or give the article to the retailer on purchase of equivalent equipment,
on a one for one basis. A correct differential waste collection for the
subsequent passing on of the used equipment to recycling, processing
and the waste disposal compatible to the environment contributes to
the avoidance of possible negative effects on the environment and
health and favours the recycling of the materials which the equipment
is made. Abusive disposal of the product by the consumer would imply
the application of administrative fi nes according to D. Lgs. n°.22/1997
(article 50 and subsequent. n°. 22/1997).
