Solar panel
For optimal charging of the solar panel, it is recommended that the panel be
oriented to the south with an upward tilt of 30°. Check the length of the solar
panel cable before attaching it.
Warnings
The solar panel has been designed to maintain the charge of the camera’s
batteries, thus allowing you to operate the system continuously and simplifying
installation (no need to install electricity, no need to dismantle the camera to
recharge the batteries, etc.).
- Poorly installed solar panel (bad location, non-optimal orientation, etc.)
- Too many detections: if the camera is installed in a place where detections
are too frequent (high trac area): this can lead to a too fast discharge of the
batteries. As the solar panel only provides energy during the day, it may not be
able to maintain the charge indenitely.
