z Make sure the Segway PT is powered off prior to lifting. Use safe
and appropriate loading and lifting techniques. Segway
recommends that two people work together to lift the Segway PT.
Lift with your legs, not your back. Never lift the Segway PT by its
Tires, Fenders, or Wheels because your hands or fingers could
become caught between the Tire and the Fender, resulting in
injury.
z Unplug before servicing. Disconnect your Segway PT from AC
power before removing or installing Batteries or performing any
other service.
