IP54 for unit, IPx6 for battery assembly (resistant to dust, water, spill). Dustproof: Foreign
material is prevented from getting inside the vehicle. The amount of dust that can get inside
the Segway miniPLUS will have no effect on the functioning of the unit’s boards. Waterproof:
Cannot prevent water from getting in at all, therefore; do not wash it with water directly but
use a wet cloth to clean your vehicle instead. Do not ride the vehicle or minimize your speed
in heavy or moderate rain to prevent accidents (e.g. falling).
Can the battery on the Segway S-Plus be
disassembled?
The battery cannot be disassembled privately without losing the warranty. The interior
circuits would be exposed and there could be high voltage in it because of disassembly. You
would risk to encounter an electric shock due to a damage in the interior circuit.
Can the Segway S-Plus be turned on while
charging?
The Segway S-Plus cannot be turned on or used while charging. Doing so could cause
damage in both the charger and the body.
