It is not necessary to delete the notification setup. The notification
function can be switched of. Choose Disabled in the ’notification
level’ list box.
How to update Firmware or Software?
ISD300 can be updated, simply receiving new firmware or software
via the network.
During a firmware update, the old firmware is overwritten and
replaced. The configuration parameters retain their original
settings.
The ISD300 comes with the current firmware and software, so that
an update is generally only required as bugfix.
Proceed as follows:
1. Click Maintenance.
2. Click Software.
3. Choose Install software on the ISD300.
4. Click Next.
5. Click Browse....
6. Select a firmware or software file.
7. Click Next to upload the file to the ISD300.
8. Click Next to apply the firmware or software to the ISD300.
9. Click OK.
The ISD300 may be rebooted automatically to activate the
firmware or software.
How to create a Backup?
The system configuration can be stored in a backup file on another
system. If required, the configuration then can be restored within
seconds. This configuration can also be used to configure further
ISD devices, to achieve consistent configuration and minimise
installation times.
