6 Operation
6.1 Location and connection to the power supply
Place the pH-meter on a fl at surface, clean of dust, not to direct sun light exposi-
tion, and near to a mains plug. For an ergonomic use, let 30cm free space round
the pH-meter.
Use the power cord to connect pH-meter to mains plug provided with an earth
conductor.
6.3 Conexión del electrodo y sonda de temperatura
To connect the electrode, the short-circuitting plug must be extrected from the socket
(4) and then, connect the electrode in the same socket.
It is advised to keep the short-circuited plug in the socket (4) while it is not in use.
The electrode must be stored with its end preserved by its proctective cap previously
fi lled with electrolitic solution.
6.2 Probe support holder
• Pull the mooring rod platform (3) until the needed size
• Insert the probe holder on the rod mooring
• Fix holder with the nut
• Adjust the position tighten its several joints
Note:
The BNC connectors have to be extracted and fi xed doing 1/4 of turn.
Keep the protective cap on the electrode until just before to use it.
ATENTION:
The protectivo solution of the electrode contain potasic chloride 3M.
Be careful: potasic chloride 3M can cause skin irritations and or cloth damages.
Avoid contact with eyes.
