Important safety conditions
Annex to the LCD screen user's manual
Warning message when displaying static shots, red/blue/
green/red pixels on the screen.
Displaying astatic image can permanently damage the LCD panel.
• Do not display astatic image on the LCD panel for
aperiod longer than 2 hours. Risk of the image staying
on the screen. This is referred to as the image being
“burned into the screen.” To prevent this from occurring,
reduce the brightness and contrast level of the screen
when viewing static images.
• A similar “burning” effect can take place with the LCD panel due to aTV channel
logo being displayed for along period of time.
• Using 4:3, 16:9 or similar aspect ratios, that do not cover the entire screen, can leave
traces of the image displayed on the left, right or in the middle of the screen, caused
by the different light intensity on the screen. Playing aDVD or agame console image
can have asimilar effect.
• Displaying the static image of video games and computers for alonger period of time
can leave traces of the image on the TV screen. To avoid this effect, reduce your
brightness and contrast when viewing static images.
The warranty does not apply to damage caused by the reasons stated above!
Red, blue, green and black pixels may appear on the screen.
• This is typical for liquid crystals and is not adefect. Liquid crystal displays are
produced via very precise technology with fine picture details. Inactive pixels can
occasionally appear on the screen represented by solid red, green, blue or black
pixels (a maximum of 0.001% of the total number of pixels). Notice that this does not
affect the LCD screen performance.
Notes on the USB connector:
• USB memory devices require being connected directly into the device. To prevent
afailing or interrupting data transfer, do not use USB extension cable. Electrostatic
discharge can cause the device to not function. In this case, the user must restart the
device.
• Before using aUSB memory device, test that it communicates with the device and
its read and write speed.
• For maximum reading speed, we recommend to keep the disc space defragmented.
Use file system FAT32, single partition, no protection. If the reading/writing of the
memory device is not smooth, it can lead to undesirable effects, such as interruption
of the image (blocky image) or failure of whole frames, audio malfunctions, and in
