  If the door of your SentrySafe Other won't open after entering the code or combination, it could be due to a tight water-resistant gasket. Try holding the handle up while entering the code or combination, and then pull down on the handle. Also, if your safe has a key lock, make sure the key is in the unlocked position.

  If you can't open your SentrySafe Safes even though the electronics are working, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, if your safe has a water-resistant gasket, the door might be tight initially; try holding the handle up while entering the code, then pull down when the unlocked padlock icon appears. Second, the battery power might be too weak to open the safe; in this case, replace the batteries and try entering the code again.

  If the door of your SentrySafe Other will not lock, first check if the shipping screw is still in place. If so, remove the screw on the back inside of the door. Also, remove all items from inside the safe. If this resolves the issue, re-set the accessories and organize items to properly fit. For proper bolt-down instructions, see pages 11.

  If the red indicator light is blinking on your SentrySafe Other, it means an incorrect code has been entered three times, and the system has entered a delay mode. Wait two minutes and start over.

Why doesn't the dial turn on my SentrySafe Other?

  If the dial on your SentrySafe Other does not turn, it could be because the shipping screw is still in place. Remove the screw from the back of the door. Also, make sure the locking bolts are fully extended by ensuring the handle is in the horizontal position.

  If the handle of your SentrySafe Other is not in the horizontal position when the safe is locked, the clutch mechanism has been engaged. Rotate the handle up or down until it clicks into the horizontal position.
