7.2 Daily cleaning
1. Make sure that the appliance is switched off, has cooled down and the
power plug is disconnected.
2. Press the “OPEN” button on the side of the appliance to open the swing-
out lter.
3. Remove the lter ring.
4. Take out the lter insert together with the permanent lter.
5. Wash the lter insert and the permanent lter in warm water containing
washing up liquid.
TIP
The lter ring , permanent lter and lter insert can
also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
6. Wipe the swing-out lter with warm water containing washing up liquid.
7. Empty the vacuum jug.
8. Wash the vacuum jug in warm water containing washing up liquid.
9. Thoroughly dry all components before placing them back in the appli-
ance.
7.3 Running water through the appliance
1. Make sure there is no lter with coffee grounds in the appliance and the
vacuum jug is clean.
2. Remove the vacuum jug.
3. Fill the vacuum jug with cold tap water.
CAUTION!
To avoid damaging the appliance only ll the water
tank with cold tap water.
4. Pour the water into the water tank.
5. Place the vacuum jug with lid into the device.
6. Plug the power plug into the socket. Press the “
” button.
 The appliance switches on automatically.
7. Press the “
” button.
 The “
” button turns blue and indicates that the grinder is
switched off.
8. Press the “
” button.
 The “
” and “ ” buttons will light up. The water heats up and
runs through the appliance. Wait until the appliance beeps 3 times
and the “ ” symbol goes out.
9. Empty and clean the vacuum jug.
