1. S EL F-D IA GN O S IS FU NC TIO N A N D DIS PLAY MO DE
(1) To ca ll out the content of the s elf-dia gnosis memory, hold down the emergency operation button for more than five
seconds when the indoor unit is not operating.
a) According to t he content of the s elf-diagnos is memory, the Operat i on LE D (main cat egory) and t he P lasmacluster
Ion L E Ds (s ub-category) flash in s ync with the T imer LE D on the indoor unit.
b) Intheeventacompleteshutdownoccursduetoamalfunction,theOperationLED(red),TimerLED(yellow),
P lasmaclus ter Ion LE D (blue), and P lasmacluster Ion LE D (green) flash to indicate the general information of
the generated ma lfunction.
c) I f the power cord is unplugge d from the A C outle t or the circuit brea ke r is turne d off, the s e lf-dia gnos is me mory
loses the stored data.
(2) Display of detailed self-diagnosis result with main category and sub-category indications
When malfunct ion information is called out, the main category and sub-cat egory of the self-diagnos is res ult are
indicated by the Operation, T imer, and P las maclus ter Ion LE Ds on the indoor unit.
*2: The self-diagnosis display function of the outdoor unit indic ates the error information by flashing LE D1 o n the
outdoor unit acco rding to the content of self-diagnosis.
T he s elf-diagnosis dis play function of the out door unit is act ive only for about 3 to 10 minutes aft er s elf-diagnos is is
performe d during ope ra tion, a nd the dis pla y re turns to norma l condition a fte r this dis pla y period.
T he content of s elf-diagnos is cannot be called out by the s elf-diagnos is dis play funct ion of t he outdoor unit.
