CONNECTIONS
1.
To
Connect
the
AC
Adaptor
Before
connecting
the
power
cord,
check
that
the
AC
adaptor
(EA-57A)
matches
the
voltage
of
the
power
source.
|If
the
voltage
does
not
match,
the
plotter
may
maifunction.
1)
Make
sure
that
the
main
power
switch
of
the
plotter
is
turned
off.
Then
connect
the
AC
adaptor
with
the
main
unit’s
AC
adaptor
terminal.
2)
Plug
the
AC
adaptor
into
the
wall
socket.

To
Set
the
DIP
Switches
The
DIP
switches
are
used
to
match
the
plotter’s
functions
with
those
of
the
computer
or
other
devices
connected.
The
functions
shown
below
can
be
selected.

Specifies
whether
CR+LF
or
CR
is
executed
when
CR
codes
are
received.
SW5
Sets the
input
signal
level
of
the
RS-232C
Interface
to
the
RS-232C
(L1)
or
TTL
(L2)
level,
®
Before
you
set
the
DIP switches,
be
sure
to
turn
the
power
switch
off,
®
SW6
is
not
used
with
this
plotter.
