code
entry
function
allows
the
operator
to enter
codes
(up
to
eight
digits)
such
as
credit
card
numbers
at any
point
during
a
transaction'
Example:
selling
a
$25.00
item
(department 3)
by
charge
account
to a
customer
whose
code
number
is
123.

Entries
The
cashier
code
is
printed
at
the
bottom
of
every
receipt
or
journal.
lt is used
to
identify
the
operator
responsible
for each
transaction
and
to classify
sales
amounts
by
operator
when
the
applicable
report
is
printed. To
use
this
feature,
the
operator
must
enter
the
cashier
code
(1
to
4)
which
was
assigned
to him
or
her,
before
operating
the
cash
register.
