Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET)
The MX-5112N / MX-4112N support RET. In the case of Copy, Manual: Text, Map mode, and Text of Copy of
Copy mode support RET. In the case of print, users can choose whether they use RET mode or not on the printer
driver. (Users can set it by clicking “Advanced” tab -> “Compatibility” button -> “Smoothing” of the printer
driver.)

Enhancing granular quality enables copied/printed data to be smoother.
More Vividly Reproducing Cyan
By changing the toner, the colour reproduction area becomes wide. Therefore, MX-5112N / MX-4112N can
copy/print data especially cyan-based colour such as blue and/or green including sky, sea, grass, and/or trees
brighter and more vividly.
