Scan to Email fails when using
hotmail.com or outlook.com
As Microsoft will not accept any email that is not RFC5322

email address in the header therefore, when configuring
SMTP settings on the MFP, make sure to add a Name &

Settings\Image Send Settings\Scan Settings).

Scanned TIF images cannot be opened
using Windows Fax viewer
As default, the scanned data for the models listed is set to
Greyscale (JPEG compression/ 8bit image) which is currently
unsupported using Windows Fax viewer.
To view TIF images using Windows Fax viewer, implement
one of the following workarounds:-
1. Change the Standard Colour Mode setting of the scanner
(Recommended).
From System Settings > Image Send Settings > Scan Settings
> Other Settings > Default Colour Mode Settings; Change
"Greyscale" to "Mono2".
2. Before sending, manually change the Colour Mode to
Mono2 before executing the job and scanning the originals.
