Abbreviated
Format
?
The
PRINT
statement
displays
data
on
the
screen.
<palette
code>
specifies
the
palette
code
for
the
colour
of
the
text
on
the
screen.
If
this
code
is
omitted,
the
palette
code
specified
in
the
colour
statement
is
assumed.
When
a
semicolon
is
used
to
delimit
two
<data>
items,
it
causes
them
to
be
dis-
played
with
no
extra
space.
A
comma,
on
the
other
hand,
causes
10-character
tabu-
lations
to
be
performed
between
the
printout
of
each
<data>
item.
If
no
<data>
item
is
specified,
this
command
performs
a
line
feed.
Numeric
data
is
displayed
by
this
statement
in
one
of
two
formats:
real
number
format
or
exponential
format.
Numeric
values
in
the
range
from
1
x
10°*
to
1
x
10°
are
displayed
in
real
number
format;
those
beyond
this
range
are
displayed
in
exponential
format.
