OPERATION SEQUENCE
OFF CONDIITION
Closing the door activates all door interlock switches
(Right latch switch. Left latch switch and stop switch.)
IMPORTANT
When the oven door is closed. the monitor switch contacts
COM-NC must be open.
When the microwave oven is plugged in a wall outlet (240V
50Hz). 24Ovolts A.C. is supplied to the point A7+A9 in the
control unit.

the relays (RY! +RY2+RY6) go back to their home posi-
tion. The circuits to the oven lamp. power transformer. fan
motor and turntable motor are cut off.

The circuits to the power transformer and turntable
motor are cut off when the right latch switch and left
latch switch are made open. The fan motor is cut off
when the stop switch is made open.
The oven lamp remains on even if the oven door is
opened after the cooking cycle has been inter-
rupted, because the relay (RYl) stays closed.
Shown in the display is the remaining time.
MONITOR SWITCH CIRCUIT
The monitor switch is mechanically controlled by
oven door. and monitors the operation of the right
latch switch and left latch switch.

When the oven door is opened during or after the
cycle of a cooking program, the contacts (COM-
NC) of the monitor switch must be closed and the
contacts (COM-NO) of the righ latch switch, left
latch switch and stop switch must be opened at
the same time.
When the oven door is closed. the contacts (COM-
NC) of the monitor switch must be opened and
the contacts (COM-NO) of the righ latch switch,
ieft latch switch and stopswitch must be closed at
the same time.
When the oven door is opened and the contacts of
the right latch switch and the left latch switch
remain closed. the fuse M8A will blow, because
t9e monitor switch and relay (RYl) are closed and
a short cirsu~l is caused.

V~hen the microwave oven is preset for variable cook-
izg power, 240 volts AC Dower is supplied to the
pOWe 7 rransformer intermittently within a 32-second
trme tjase throuab the relay contact which is coupled

spond to the percentage of microwave power,
because approx. 2 seconds are needed for
heating up the magnetron filament.
