      If your Sherwin-Williams Pressure Washer has low pressure or the pump runs rough, here are several things to check: * The tip may be worn or the wrong size. Replace it with a tip of the correct size. * The inlet filter could be clogged. Clean it. * Worn packings, abrasives in the water, or natural wear could be the cause. Replace the packings. * Make sure that the water supply is adequate by checking the water flow rate to the pump. * The inlet or discharge valves might be fouled or dirty. Clean the inlet and discharge valve assemblies. * A restricted inlet can cause this issue. Check the filter. * Worn inlet or discharge valves can also be the problem. Replace worn valves. * A leaking high-pressure hose can cause low pressure. Replace the high-pressure hose.

Install new plungers. * Abrasive material in the fluid being pumped can cause this. Install proper filtration on the pump inlet plumbing. * If the inlet water temperature is too high, check the water temperature. It should not exceed 160°F. * An overpressurized pump can lead to packing failure. Do not modify any factory-set adjustments. * Excessive pressure due to a partially plugged or damaged tip. Clean or replace the tip. * Running the pump too long without spraying can cause this. Never run the pump for more than 10 minutes without spraying. * Running the pump dry will damage the packings...
