What to do if SICC Tech CMAX has no or poor sanitary hot water production?
    • T
      Tiffany HernandezAug 5, 2025
If your SICC Tech Water Heater isn't producing enough hot water, several factors could be the cause. First, too much air in the primary circuit might be the problem; try venting the circuit and installing an automatic air valve if one isn't present. Another cause could be a limestone-encrusted exchanger, which would require cleaning. A hole in the exchanger could also be the cause; check for leakage by disassembling the primary circuit, pressurizing the secondary circuit, closing both the inlet and outlet, and using a pressure gauge to monitor pressure changes. If there is a leak, replace the heat exchanger. Finally, excessive pressure from the supply network could be the issue, which can be resolved by installing a pressure reduction filter.

Why is there too much pressure in the secondary circuit of my SICC Tech CMAX Water Heater?
    • K
      kmorrisAug 10, 2025
Excessive pressure in the secondary circuit of your SICC Tech Water Heater could be due to a missing or insufficient expansion tank, or inadequate pressure within the existing tank. If the pressure increases as the temperature rises, it's important to check the presence and pressure of the expansion tank.

Mr. Jay Marks DDSAug 15, 2025
What to do if my SICC Tech CMAX Water Heater has excessive stray currents?
    • J
      Joseph CraigAug 15, 2025
If your SICC Tech Water Heater has excessive stray currents, ground the appliance. Additionally, use dielectric couplings and ground the surrounding electrical appliances.
  • T
    Tanner AndersonAug 19, 2025
How to fix water leakage from the anode of SICC Tech CMAX?
    • R
      Roberto LeeAug 20, 2025
If your SICC Tech Water Heater is leaking water from the anode, it may be due to the absence of an internal seal. To resolve this, disassemble the anode and fit the seal.
  • J
    Jonathan BakerAug 25, 2025
Why is the anode wearing out so fast in my SICC Tech CMAX?
    • C
      Cheryl SnyderAug 25, 2025
The anode in your SICC Tech Water Heater might be wearing out quickly due to excessive free surface needing protection, which results from stress on the internal anti-corrosion coating. To fix this, replace the cylinder.

What to do if SICC Tech Water Heater has no circulation due to a lock of the pump or valve serving the primary circuit?
    • D
      Daniel SandersAug 30, 2025
If your SICC Tech Water Heater has no circulation because the pump or valve serving the primary circuit is locked, unlock or check the pump/valve after ensuring they are receiving power.
