8.1 EtherNet/IP integration
The SIG350 can exchange process data and parameters via EtherNet/IP. For this
purpose, the IO-Link Master must be connected to a suitable programmable logic
controller (PLC).

Reading in EDS file
The device description file (EDS) enables easy integration of the device into the control
environment. The EDS file for the SIG350 can be downloaded from www.sick.com. For
instructions on how to import the file into your system, refer to the documentation of
your control integration software.
Prerequisites
You use an Allen Bradley controller system with “Studio 5000” control software V22 or
newer (or another controller that allows facilitated integration with an EDS file).
