9. Taking out of service
Should the machine and/or its components be stored and kept for a long period before commissioning to
avoid damages and deteriorations, make sure that:
▪ The electric mechanisms and structural parts are not damaged and the painted parts and machined
surfaces are not scratched;
▪ Before storing them, protect the structural parts and machined surfaces with antioxidant products;
▪ The materials can be stored up to a maximum of two years in a weather-protected environment with a
maximum relative humidity of 80% and temperatures between 15 °C and +60 °C;
▪ In case of storage for over two years, ask the manufacturer for preservation procedures;
▪ Should these values change during storage, preliminary checks must be performed before starting the
machine (see following paragraph);
▪ If temperature exceeds or drops below the given values and/or relative humidity is higher than 80%,
arrange protections with barrier sacks and hygroscopic salts;
