During a user calibration you must supply a voltage and/or a temperature, using the corresponding external wiring and an
external voltage / temperature transducer. As seen in Figure User Calibration Status, the 'instruction' field provides pin
numbers for application of the calibration stimulus. The first pin number refers to the positive connection and the second pin
refers to the negative connection. The precision of the source voltage/temperature determines the precision of the
calibration. To ensure the module maintains specified accuracy after a user calibration, the voltage/temperature source
should have at least twice the accuracy specified for the module. Inaccurate voltages or temperatures will cause a faulty
calibration.

Figure User Calibration Status
Status
Depending on the measuring type that has been set, several calibration steps are required for calibrating a channel. The
field "Status" respectively displays whether the last calibration step was faultless or faulty. If an error occurs while a
calibration step is processed, the error is displayed here, and channel calibration is cancelled. All calibration values recorded
so far are cleared. The calibration values that were active prior to the start of the user calibration are retained.
Comment
In the field "Comment", the following is displayed:
● How many calibration steps were performed so far
● How many calibration steps are required to completely calibrate the channel
● Which calibration value the module is determining currently
