4.6 Configuring and Addressing the C7 Input/Output Module
4.6.1 Configuring with a C7 Input/Output Module
When you configure with STEP 7, you specify which modules you are using in
your system and how these are arranged in the individual racks. You enter this
arrangement in the configuration table and save it.
See Chapter 1 “Configuration in STEP7”.
The C7 input/output module is not listed in the module catalog until a later STEP7
version.
4.6.2 Pinout and Addressing of the Digital I/Os
The following section describes the default addressing of the digital I/Os. You
require this information to be able to address the channels of the digital inputs and
outputs in the user program.
Figure 1-13 shows the scheme producing the addresses of the individual channels
of the digital I/Os.
