Using the domes
Your dome includes an integrated C-Guard wax protec-
tion system.
Cleaning
Cerumen (ear wax) on the dome or
C-Guard may affect sound quality.
Listen for any changes. If wax has
built up, it can be removed easily
with a soft tissue. No other tools
are required.
Note:
Never use brushes or sharp objects for cleaning or
they may damage the dome or C-Guard.
Never use running water or immerse the hearing
instrument.
Never use pressure or rotating action while cleaning.
The dome cleans best right after taking the hearing
instrument off. This way Cerumen can not dry and
harden.
For best results, it is recommended that you change
your dome including C-Guard approximately every
three months, or as needed.
