Note:
Never expose your hearing instrument to extreme
temperatures or high humidity. Do not store it in
direct sunlight (e.g. in summer in the car). Do not
wear it when taking a shower or when using hairspray.
Make sure to turn off the instrument when not in
use. This helps preserve battery life.
When not wearing your instrument for long periods
of time, remove the batteries. This prevents leakage,
which can sometimes occur in batteries. Replace
batteries that show leakage immediately.
Standard batteries are not rechargeable.
Caution:
As with all electrical, non-gas-encapsulated systems,
the hearing instrument should not be operated in
rooms where there is a danger of explosion.
Do not wear your hearing instrument during
short-wave therapy, or in conjunction with medical
treatments that use strong magnetic or high-
frequency fields, such as magnetic resonance
tomography and x-rays, or near microwave ovens.
