SIM contacts
Entries (on the SIM card) are man-
aged separately from those in the
phone memory. They are arranged
according to name, phone, groups,
location, and record no.
New entry
If the SIM contacts has been selected
as the default book:
H
Open Contacts (in standby
mode).
H
Select <New entry>.
C
Display input fields.
I
Navigate between and fill
in the input fields.
Phone number
Always enter phone number with di-
alling code. An entry cannot be
saved without a phone number.
Name
Enter first and/or last names.
Groups
Default No group
Important phone numbers may be
put into one group (VIP).
Location
Default: SIM
Special SIM cards can save phone
numbers in a protected area
(<Protected SIM>) (PIN2 required).
Record no.
Is automatically assigned to every
entry. The phone number can be
dialled with your record number.
§Save§ Press to store the new
entry.
Calling/sorting an entry

Open Contacts.

Select a name with the
first letter and/or scroll.
A
Number is dialled.
Editing an entry

Select entry in
SIM contacts.
§Options§ Press.
§Edit§ Select.

Select desired input field.
J
Make changes.
§Save§ Store the entry.
