Getting started
Inserting the SIM card/
battery
The service provider supplies you
with a SIM card on which all the im-
portant data for your line is stored. If
the SIM card has been delivered in
credit-card size, snap the smaller
segment out and remove any rough
edges.
• Slide backwards to open the bat-
tery compartment cover. Push the
battery towards the hinge and lift
it up.
Note the SIM card direction

• Insert the SIM card into the slot
with the contact surface facing
downwards (ensure that the cham-
fered corner is in the correct
position).
• Reinsert the battery into the
phone
2, then press it down-
wards until it engages

• To fit a lanyard: thread the attach-
ment loop over the hook below
the battery

. Close the battery
cover to secure the lanyard (see
page 8).
Additional Information
Please switch your phone off before
removing the battery!
Only 3 V SIM cards are supported. Please
contact your service provider if you have an
older SIM card.
