5.4 Preparing detector base FDB22x for installing an
FDOOT241-A3 or FDOOT241-A4
The point detectors FDOOT241-A3 and FDOOT241-A4 can be used to replace
detectors from the AnalogPLUS or SIGMALOOP detector families.
You will find details in the 'List of compatibility'.
 Use one of the FDB221, FDB221-AA, or FDB222 detector bases.
1. Use the table below to determine the resistance which corresponds to the
existing detector type.
Resistor connection
R = ∞Ω Do not install a resistor
2. Install the resistor. See figure 'Resistor connection'.
– If the detector is replacing a DO1131A, SDF1200, or SDF2200, do not
install a resistor.
3. Use the auxiliary terminal DBZ1190-AA for multiple assignment. See figure
'Resistor connection'.
