Windows Vista: activating DHCP
To activate DHCP with Windows Vista, set the TCP/IP network protocol so that it obtains
the IP address automatically from your DHCP server.
Setting up the TCP/IP network protocol with DHCP
Make the necessary settings for the TCP/IP network protocol.
The networks are displayed to which a connection currently exists.
ì Click in the lower area of the small window on the entry Network and Sharing
Center.
ì Next to the network connection with which your PC is connected to the Gigaset
SE681 WiMAX, click on View status.
ì Click on the icon in the taskbar (bottom right of the screen next to the
time).
