Using the answering machine in the SL150 colour Base station

Example for an announcement: "This is the answering machine of the Smith family. If
you want to leave a message for Rosy Smith, presS1 colour, for Paul Smith press 2."
The caller will then enter the appropriate number of the mailbox he or she wants to
leave a message in.
If the caller enters an incorrect mailbox number or the selected mailbox has not been
set up, the incoming message will automatically be left in mailbox 1.

Changing the number of mailboxes
To do this:
1.

2. When you try to change the number of activated mailboxes, you will be prompted
to delete all the messages first (see page 59). After this, you will be asked whether
you want to change the announcement for the answering machine.
3. Then change the number of mailboxes by repeating from step 1.

In the On/Off: line activate or deactivate the answer-
ing machine.

Scroll to the Mailboxes: line and enter the number
of mailboxes (1–3) you want to use for recording
messages.
Example:
Entering "1" activates mailbox 1. Entering "2" acti-
vates two mailboxes (1 and 2), "3" activates three
mailboxes (1, 2 and 3).

Now press the display key to confirm the setting.

Recording an announce only message:

Select the menu item and confirm.

The display prompts you to start recording:
Confirm. You hear the ready tone (a short tone).
Now record your announcement.

Press the display key. The recorded announcement is
repeated for you to check.
