Using the answering machine in the SL150 colour Base station

Please remember:
◆ Recording ends automatically when the max. recording time of 170 seconds is
exceeded or there was a break in speaking of more than 2 seconds.
◆ During recording you can cancel the announcement with the a key or and
re-record it with the display key .
◆ If you cancel while recording, the following will happen automatically:
–in Answer and Record mode, the pre-recorded announcement will be used
again,
–in Announce Only mode the answering machine is deactivated.

Select announcement mode
You can choose between Ans. & Record mode and Announce Only mode (if you have
recorded the announce only message, page 55). For definitions of the terms see
page 54.
You can add the Ans Mode Time function to either of the options.
There is a pre-recorded announcement stored in your phone for the Answer and Record
mode. This announcement is used if you have not yet recorded a personal announce-
ment or if a personal announcement has been deleted.
