EPAC300-M50 SERIES CONTROLLER OVERVIEW
The EPAC300-M50 Series Controller Unit (Figure 1) is an advanced rugged traffic
signal controller unit configurable for traffic management and communications
applications. It meets the latest NEMA specification, which is TS2-2003.

• M51 NEMA TS-2, Type 1 Version (serial connection to BIU)
• M52 NEMA TS-2, Type 2 Version (parallel connection via NEMA A, B, C)
• Built-in 10 Base-T Ethernet with RJ-45 connector and IP address
• Built-in infrared wireless port for Personal Data Device (PDA), or Laptop PC
• FLASH drive for software & data files, eliminates need to replace PROMs
• Removable Front Panel with stowed extension cable, (may delete to save cost)
• No batteries, motors, fans or other devices that wear out or require service
• Optional internal FSK modem
• NTCIP and ECOM (ANSI X 3.28) communications
