7 - 6 Capacitor-bank charging circuit
While performing servicing or maintenance tasks on these extremely hazardous compo-
nents, it is therefore essential that you follow the procedure described in the Service
Instructions exactly.
When replacing the capacitor bank or following a long shut-down period of several
months, it is necessary to gently and carefully ”form" the entire capacitor bank in order to
prevent premature capacitor defects.
For this purpose the software-supported service program ” P06 Capacitor forma-
tion ” is available.
The Service Instructions describe how to call this service program.
