10.3.4 Uploading diagnostic files
Diagnostic file purposes:
The purpose of these files is to record messages of what has taken place with the
NK82xx to make it easier to determine if something is wrong, or if something im-
portant has taken place.
Diagnostic file descriptions:
DIAGNO.LOG – This file is always present, and contains information about the be-
haviour of the application running on the NK82xx. For example, if it wasn’t possible
to open an internal queue during the initialisation phase, that message is saved to
this file.
EEProm.LOG – You create this file by selecting the Save EEProm on File button.
This file contains information about the NK82xx hardware status stored on the
EEProm. For example, if it wasn’t possible to use the serial interface on COM3 be-
cause the serial add-on board is broken, that message is saved to the EEProm.
Note: Every time you select the Save EEProm on File button, you overwrite any
existing EEProm.LOG file.
EVENT.LOG – This file is present only after the EEProm is full for the first time. It
contains (up to) the four most recent backups of the EEProm.LOG file.

low.
