Camera
A camera with flash is integrated in
the phone. Use photos/videos as
• wallpaper, logo, screensaver,
startup and shutdown animation
• a supplement to contact entries
• an attachment to an MMS or
e-mail
Save photos and videos in My stuff
(page 54) or on the RS MultiMedia-
Card (page 56).

The preview image is displayed. In
the first line you will see:
Ú Zoom factor
Ù Night mode
Û White balance
Ø Flash active.
The number of photos that can still
be taken in the selected resolution is
displayed in the preview image. This
number varies considerably depend-
ing on the subject matter and how
much storage space is required. You
will also see an indication of the
selected resolution or, if video mode
has been selected, there is an indica-
tion as to how much recording time
has already been used and how
much time is still available.

If necessary, set the
zoom factor first.
The photo is saved with a name, the
date and the time in the Pictures
(page 54) folder in My stuff. To enter
the name, see Setup in the options
menu.
Image resolution
It is possible to set the quality of the
image regardless of the preview im-
age resolution. The best possible res-
olution is 1280 x 960 pixels.
To take individual wallpaper images
you need to set Wallpaper as the im-
age resolution in the options.
The resolution may decrease
depending on the selected digital
zoom.
