information technology has opened up a diverse range of new applications for air circuit
breakers.
The power distribution system can be integrated into the information system of the relevant
application, but it can also have its own independent information system.
Siemens considers the following four scenarios to be potential applications:
● Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) for production facilities
● Total Building Solution (TBS) for non-residential buildings
● Totally Integrated Power (TIP) as the power distribution system for the two applications
above
● Energy management with powermanager
