The control module houses the controller for the bus plug application, shown in figure 8. The control module also contains a fused
switch that controls power to the SEM3™ controller. This switch is shipped in the ON position, meaning the SEM3™ will turn on when the
plug is installed and the busway is powered. The fusible switch may be used to turn off the controller. Control power for the SEM3™ is
tapped off the bus on the line side of the breakers, so metering continues even when the breakers are in the OFF position.
