Expanded functions of the older firmware versions V2.1 to V3.0
Functions
The following characteristics are new and can be used during configuration with STEP 7, see
section Project engineering (Page 30):
● Advanced Web diagnostics; among other things with the following additional options:
– Update center for firmware download, updating of the IP access control list and
language settings
– Topology representation
– Diagnostics of S7 connections
– Module identification
● PROFINET IO
– IRT with the option "high performance"
– Full PROFINET IO diagnostics also in the expansion rack
Expansions on the interface to the user program
New program block AG_CNTEX for connection and system diagnostics with PING
functionality
The overall functionality of the CP during simultaneous operation of standard
communications functions and PROFINET IO controller mode was further improved.
