Product Description
These instructions explain how to recondition and fill
1-inch through 4-inch SINORIX valves.
NOTE: Only for systems manufactured prior to 2014
with integrated fixed valve releasing solenoid
and local manual control (CPY-LMC). See
Figure 3 and Figure 9).

CAUTION:
Required Tools
Strap wrench
Spanner wrench
WD-40 (or similar)
Silicone RTV sealant
SINX 16, 17, or 18 for respective size
Torque wrench with 3/8" drive

Prerequisites
Verify that there is a sufficient quantity of HFC227ea
in inventory to complete the entire recharge of each
cylinder.

WARNING:
Although the pressure gauge may register a
“Zero” reading, caution must be used at all
times since residual pressure may still be
present.
CAUTION:
Before beginning this procedure, make sure
the Anti-Recoil Device is installed on the
cylinder.
Disassembling the Valve
1. Energize the solenoid or depress a Local
Manual Control (CPY-LMC) to ensure there is
no pressure in the cylinder. It is normal to notice
a slight pressure release. At this point, THERE
IS NO PRESSURE IN THE CYLINDER.
