Press the red emergency stop button in emergencies when
• people are at risk
• there is the risk of machines or the workpiece being damaged
As a rule, when operating the emergency stop button, all drives are brought to a standstill with
maximum braking torque.
For other responses to an emergency stop, please refer to the machine tool manufacturer's
instructions.
WARNING
Risk of death resulting from the premature emergency stop unlocking
If you shut down the system to be monitored, you can only release the emergency stop button
or put the system to be monitored back into operation if the condition that triggered the
emergency stop function has been corrected and a safe restart is ensured.
Contact blocks with dierent contact congurations are available from RAFI under the name
'RAFIX 22 QR, contact block'.
