Changing a setting value

Prepare the appliance for use.
6.1 Starting an empty wash-
ing cycle
Your appliance was inspected thor-
oughly before leaving the factory. To
remove any residual water, run the
first wash cycle without any laundry.
1. Press .
The switch-on process takes a few
seconds.
2. Select the Cottons 90°C pro-
gramme or the drum cleaning pro-
gramme in the HomeConnect
app.
3. Close the door.
4. Pull out the detergent drawer.
5. Add washing powder that contains
a bleaching agent to compart-
mentII.
To prevent foaming, use only half
of the amount of detergent recom-
mended by the detergent manufac-
turer for light soiling. Do not use
detergent suitable for woollens or
delicates.
6. Push in the detergent drawer.
7. Press ⁠ to start the programme.

programme duration.
a After the programme has ended,
the display shows: End.
8. Start the first wash cycle or press
to put the appliance in standby
mode.
