15.4 Activating Wi-Fi on the
appliance
Requirements
¡ The HomeConnect menu is called
up.

▶ Press to change the setting.
a The display shows on if the Wi-Fi
is activated.
Note:If the Wi-Fi is activated, the dis-
play alternately shows on and the
signal strength of the Wi-Fi connec-
tion.

network settings
Requirements

▶ Press and hold for at least
3seconds.
a The network settings are reset.
15.7 Remote start
Enable the appliance for remote start
via the HomeConnect app.
Note
Remote start is deactivated for safety
reasons in the following
circumstances:
¡ The appliance door is opened.
¡ Remote Start is pressed.
¡ Following a power cut.
Activating remote start
Requirements
¡ The appliance is connected to your
home WiFi network.
¡ The appliance is connected to the
HomeConnect app.
¡ A programme is selected.
¡ The appliance door is closed.
▶ Press Remote Start .
a Remote Start lights up and the
appliance is enabled for remote
start via the HomeConnect app.
Deactivating remote start
▶ Press Remote Start .
a Remote Start goes out.
15.8 Remote diagnostics
Customer Service can use Remote
Diagnostics to access your appliance
if you contact them, have your appli-
ance connected to the HomeCon-
nect server and if Remote Dia-
gnostics is available in the country in
which you are using the appliance.
