Information on reducing environ-
mental consequences:
Use the induction hot plate exclusively with
cooking utensils that are appropriate for in-
duction. Never use “induction adapter
plates”. These adapter plates significantly re-
duce the energy efficiency of an induction
hot plate (available temperature in the cook-
ing pot relative to energy consumed), and
negate all the advantages of such a hot
plate. The reason for this is the heat transfer
from the adapter plate to the base of the pot.
This makes the process take longer, and en-
ergy is wasted.
