Handling and operation
Pairing the speaker with a Bluetooth
®
device
♦ Ensure that the speaker is switched off and the Bluetooth
®
device
is switched on.
♦ Set the Bluetooth
®
device so that it scans for other Bluetooth
®
devices. A detailed description of how to do this can be found in the
operating instructions for your Bluetooth
®
device.
♦ Press and hold the button 0 for about 2 seconds to switch
the speaker on. You will immediately hear a series of beeps and
the operating LED 6 lights up white briefly. You will then hear a
single beep and the operating LED 6 flashes white rapidly. The
Bluetooth
®
function is now activated automatically.
♦ Select the entry SNL15B1 from the list of found devices on your
Bluetooth
®
device and, if required, enter the code 0000 to
connect the two devices. If the pairing is successful, you will hear a
short beep. The speaker is now in standby mode, and the operating
LED6 flashes white.
♦ Start playback on the Bluetooth
®
. The operating LED 6 flashes
roughly every 8 seconds.
♦ Press and hold the button 0 for about 2 seconds to switch the
speaker off and deactivate the Bluetooth
®
function. You will hear
a series of beeps. The operating LED 6 lights up briefly orange
before going out.
NOTE
► If you do not establish a connection between the speaker and your
Bluetooth
®
device within 10 minutes, the speaker will switch off
automatically. If this happens, you will have to switch the speaker
back on before restarting the pairing process.
► If the speaker stops receiving a signal while in Bluetooth
®
mode, the speaker will switch off automatically after around
10minutes.
► The next time you turn on the speaker, it will connect automatically
to the last-connected Bluetooth
®
device. If your Bluetooth
®
device does not reconnect to the speaker automatically, you will
have to re-establish the connection manually. A detailed descrip-
tion of how to do this can be found in the operating instructions for
your Bluetooth
®
device.
