8.3. Charging the battery
NOTICE!
Possible material damage!
Water overflowing from the fresh water tank (5) can dam-
age the appliance and fixtures.
Always empty the fresh water tank before charging the
battery.
Pull the tab of the rubber cover over the connection socket (23) and fold the rubber
cover to the side.
Insert the coaxial power connector of the supplied mains adapter (18) into the connec-
tion socket (23)
Plug the mains adapter (18) into a domestic power socket.
The battery will be charged. When the battery is empty, it takes approx. 5.6 hours to
charge it to 100%. When the battery is fully charged, the appliance switches to trickle
charge, maintaining the fully charged state. This prevents overcharging.
During charging, the charging status is indicated by the LED charging indicator (3):
5% 35% 75% 100%
Figure M
When the battery is empty, all three LEDs flash continuously. When the next higher charge
level is reached (see Figure M), the relevant LED shines and the other LEDs continue to
flash continuously. Once the battery is fully charged, all LEDs shine and then go out.
After charging, remove the mains adapter (18) from the socket and the coaxial power
connector from the connection socket (23).
