NOTICE!
Possible material damage!
The appliance is not suitable for working with hot water –
the materials used may be damaged.
Do not use hot or boiling water to fill the fresh water tank.
Do not heat the water in the fresh water tank in the micro-
wave.
Fill the fresh water tank (5) no higher than the MAX mark (see Figure F).
You can add commercially available, non-foaming floor cleaning agent to the fresh
water (in the ratio cleaner/water max. 1:20). Also pay attention to the detergent man-
ufacturer’s dosing instructions and be careful not to exceed the MAX mark (see Fig-
ure G).
Close the filling opening of the fresh water tank (5) by placing the closing tab on the
filling opening and pressing it on.
Place the fresh water tank (5) at a slight angle in the recess on the lower part of the
housing (6) and press on the fresh water tank (5) until it is firmly in place (see Figure
H).
9. Using the hard fl oor cleaner
NOTICE!
Possible material damage!
The appliance is only suitable for cleaning sealed hard
floors.
Do not use the appliance on unsealed hardwood, par-
quet, cork or carpet floors.
If necessary, check the floor for water resistance in an in-
conspicuous place before use.
The cleaning roller (9) starts rotating as soon as the appliance is switched on.
Hold the handle (1) firmly so that the appliance does not move forward by it-
self.
To prevent the dirty water tank from overflowing, do not pick up any foaming
substances (such as a cleaner residue from previous floor cleaning) from the
floor with the hard floor cleaner.
If you only need to collect water from the floor, use the appliance directlywithout first
moistening the cleaning roller (9) or filling the fresh water tank (5).
