Warranty period and statutory claims for
defects
The warranty period is not extended by the
warranty performance. This also applies
to parts which have been replaced or
repaired. Any damage or defects present
on the date of purchase must be reported
immediately after unpacking. Repairs which
are necessary after the warranty period has
expired are subject to a charge.
Warranty scope
The device was produced with due care in
accordance with strict quality guidelines
and carefully inspected before delivery.
The warranty performance applies to mate-
rial or manufacturing defects.
Wear parts subject to normal wear and tear as
well as damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches,
batteries, lamps or other parts manufactured
from glass are excluded from the warranty.
This warranty becomes null and void if the
product is damaged, not used as intended
or not maintained. All instructions in the
operating instructions must be carefully
followed to ensure proper use of the prod-
uct. Uses and actions advised against or
warned against in the operating instruc-
tions must be avoided at all costs.
The product is only intended for private use
and not for commercial use. The warranty
becomes null and void in the event of mis-
use, improper handling, the use of force
and work which was not carried out by our
authorised Service Centre.
Handling in the event of a warranty claim
Please note the following to ensure that
your request is processed quickly:
• Please have the article number
(IAN 426130_2301) and the receipt
ready as proof of purchase for all
inquiries.
• The article number can be found on
the rating plate. It is also provided in
an inscription, on the title page of your
instructions (bottom left) or on a sticker
on the rear or underside of the device.
• If malfunctions or other defects occur,
contact the Service Centre stated below
by telephone or email to begin with.
• If a product is found to be defective, you
can send it postage paid to the service
address you have been given, enclos-
ing the proof of purchase (receipt) and
stating the nature of the defect and
when it occurred.
