3) Place the item(s) you want to weigh on the scale.
The weight and the selected unit system are shown in the display 2.
4) Read off the weight. If you do not want to weigh any further items, remove
the weighed items from the scales.
5) If you want to add further items to be weighed, proceed as described in
the section “Adding further items (tare function)”.
The appliance switches off automatically after around 3 minutes.
Adding further items (tare function)
You can reset the scales to “0” to weigh additional quantities.
Press the TARE button 3. The scales will display “0” grammes again and
also “Tare”.
Place the additional ingredient on the scales. The display 2 shows the
weight of the newly added item as well as “Tare”.
You can repeat this procedure several times. However, never place more than
5,000 grammes on the scales at a time.
NOTE
If you press the TARE button 3 and remove material from the scales, the
weight of the removed quantity is shown on the display as a negative
value. "-" appears in front of the weight on the display 2.
To end the tare function, remove all the items from the scales. Then press the
TARE button 3. The scales will show “0” again and “Tare” will disappear
from the display 2.
NOTE
Never place more than 5,000 grammes on the scales. If the maximum
weight capacity is exceeded, the scales will show "EEEE" on the display 2.
