Inserting/changing the battery in the scales
NOTE
Insert only one 3 V CR2032 button cell battery into the battery compartment 6!
1) Turn the scales over and place them on a soft surface so as not to scratch
the surface.
2) Open the battery compartment 6.
3) Remove the old battery, if inserted.
4) Insert the new battery. Note the polarity marked in the battery compart-
ment 6!
5) Close the battery compartment 6.
NOTE
► If the battery in the scales is getting weak, the display 2 will show "Lo".
Please replace the battery.
Setting up the appliance
Place the scales on a level, non-slip surface.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE

This appliance is equipped with non-slip rubber feet.
Furniture surfaces may be made of a variety of materials and are treated
with many different types of cleaning agents. Therefore, it is not possible
to entirely exclude the possibility that some of these materials contain
substances that could corrode and soften the appliance's rubber feet. If
possible, place an anti-slip mat under the feet of the appliance.
Operation
Weighing items
1) Press down on the glass plate 1. The appliance switches on. The display 2
shows “0”, the selected measurement unit and the measurement system.
2) If you wish to change the unit or the system, press the UNIT button 4 until
the required unit of measurement is shown on the display 2. You can
choose between:
