NOTE

tive packaging or during transport, contact the service hotline (see section

Charging the internal battery
CAUTION
Charge the internal battery only in dry indoor spaces.
NOTE
Before using the device, the integrated battery must be completely
charged.
Ensure that the device is switched off. When the device is switched on, the
red LED
8 and the blue LED 9 flash. To turn off the device, hold down
the
button 5
for about 2 seconds.
Connect the USB type A plug of the USB charging cable
0 to a USB
power supply (5 V, at least 1500 mA) or a USB 3.0 port (can be rec-
ognised by the blue USB socket) on your computer.
Connect the micro USB plug of the USB charging cable
0 to the micro
USB charging socket (DC 5V
) 7 on the device.
NOTE
The device can also be charged during music playback. However, this
increases the charging time.
The red LED
8 lights up during charging. When the battery is fully
charged, the red LED 8 switches off.
Charging takes about 4 hours at a charging current of 1500mA. When
the battery is fully charged, you can play back music for about 5 hours
at a medium volume. The playback time may vary depending on usage
(volume/mode).
When the battery is dead, you will hear beeps every few seconds and the
red LED
8 will flash. When the battery performance drops too low, the
speaker switches off automatically.
