NOTE
► Normally, the appliance draws in the prepared ingredients automatically
once they have been placed in the feed tube
. Push gently with the
pusher if you notice that the ingredients are not being drawn into the
appliance, otherwise the appliance may block.
5) Add more ingredients to the feed tube
. If required, use the pusher to
press the ingredients carefully into the feed tube . While the ingredients
are being processed, add further pieces into the feed tube. Do not switch off
the appliance while processing.
NOTE
►
If you want to add ingredients that are too large for the feed tube
,
stop the appliance by moving the On/Off switch to the "O" position.
Flip open the lid of the feed tube and add the ingredients directly.
Then close the lid again and continue processing.
NOTE
► If pieces of food get stuck during operation, switch off the appliance and
move the On/Off switch
into the "R" position several times in quick
succession to reverse the motor. If this does not help, either, dismantle the
appliance as described in the section "Dismantling" and remove the stuck
pieces of food.
► If food is stuck in the feed tube
and cannot be freed with the pusher
, proceed as follows:
– Switch off the appliance and pull the plug of the power cable
out
of the socket.
– Turn the housing lid anticlockwise until the marking points
towards the marking on the sieve tray holder .
– Remove the housing lid .
– Remove the food pieces causing the blockage.
– Reassemble the appliance and resume operation.
